JUDGING:
Based on score of 0-100. Judge will score on the following criteria, 6% realistic horse pictures to represent your ABC horse characteristics, 8% proper attire, 43% cross country, and 43% dressage based on smoothness and accuracy of each horse/rider combination.

There are three photo frames available in the rear of your stall for you to add your pictures to represent your ABC horse traits and one in front for your business logo or stable.

SCORING:
6 Pts – Present Real Life Horse Traits that best represent your ABC Horse Traits
2 pts – coat / special markings
*(Base undercoat for those special horses)
2 pt – mane
2 pt – tail
(most people find these traits via real life horse images online)

8 Pts – Proper Riding Attire and Tack
Please try to be as consistent to real life as possible and tack properly adjusted to fit your horse. Some creative license may be taken in SL for items not easily accessible in-world. For example it is harder for men to find quality looking items on the marketplace than it is for women.

Scoring for Attire:

4.0 pts OBSTACLE COURSE:

– 0.75 pt Cowboy hat in either a neutral or coordinating color or straw hat in good condition.
– 0.75 pt Crisp shirt, either in a solid or print fabric.
– 0.75 pt Neat pants or spotless dark colored jeans with a matching belt.
-0.75 pt Cowboy boots with a low heel.
– 0.5 pt Western Saddle adjusted to fit the horse
– 0.5 pt Bridle adjusted to fit the horse

Optional Items:
Spurs, whip, chaps

4.0 pts CROSS COUNTRY JUMPING (jumping over the full sim):

– 0.5 pt Protective headgear and harness fastened and hair tied back neatly.
– 0.5 pt Riding shirt may be of any color and requires sleeves
– 0.5 pt Protective vest
– 0.5 pt Breeches may be of any color
– 0.5 pt Gloves may be of any color
-0.5 pt Long riding boots with a low heel and no laces.
Normally black but can be brown.
or short boots and matching gaiters will be allowed
– 0.5 pt English Saddle adjusted to fit the horse.
– 0.5 pt English Bridle adjusted to fit the horse. Hunter bridles preferred rather than dressage or western bridles.

Optional Items:
Spurs, medical armband, whip, stop watch

43 pts CROSS COUNTRY Discipline 43 obstacles
Focused on your riding the course smoothly and accurately
Deductions will be made for the following:
5 point deduction will be taken for horses that are worn vs ridden.
5 point deduction per incident for riding off course
2 point deduction per incident for running through a fence
1 point deduction per incident for jumping too early or too late resulting in hitting a jump

43 pts OBSTACLE COURSE Discipline
Focused on your riding the course smoothly and accurately
Deductions will be made for the following:
5 point deduction for horses worn instead of ridden.
2 point deduction per incident for incorrect gait in routine
1 point deduction per incident for being off indicated stop location
1 point deduction per incident for not coming to a complete halt as indicated in the routine

Obstacle Course Directions:

  1. In RUN mode go through the Car Wash
  2. Pass the barrel to the RIGHT and curve around #3
  3. In WALK mode weave through the poles
  4. In RUN mode weave through the poles
  5. Pass the barrel to the RIGHT and curve around to #6
  6. In WALK mode go up the bank, go around the pole
    In RUN mode go down the bank and proceed to #7
  7. HALT in the water (all four feet must be down)
  8. In WALK mode go up the ramp through the ring of fire and off the diving board and HALT
  9. In RUN mode go across the balance beam
  10. HALT and RING the Bell (Touch the Bell) before proceeding out of the arena

*Ponies may run up ramps without penalty.

3rd Place 1,000L$ – trophy and ribbon 10%

6th Place 575L$ – ribbon 5.75%
7th Place 525L$ – ribbon 5.25%
8th Place 500L$ – ribbon 5%
